Spa Etiquette

For your personal comfort and courteous to others, we ask that you please turn your cell phones to silent or off. Thank you.

Appointment:  Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As a courtesy to our guests, all appointments begin and end on time. To transition into serenity, we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.  We realize that there will be times when a guest may be late for an appointment, in such instances, the allotted time will be shortened with no fee adjustment.  Arriving late for any service may require us to shorten the length of the service, change of therapist or cancellation.

Attire:  Robes and slippers are provided for your comfort. Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. Our licensed therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.  Robes and slippers are available for purchase.

Cancellations: If it is necessary to reschedule your appointment, please notify us 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged 50% of your service fee.

Spa Services/Gift Package Cancellations: Visa/MasterCard/Discover or Gift Certificate is required to reserve Spa Services and Gift Certificate Packages for two hours or more.  Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your service date, or a 50% charge to your Visa/MasterCard/Discover or Gift Certificate will be debited.  Missed appointments will be charged at 100% service total, on the day of the scheduled service.

Children:  We love children and we do not like to see them refrained from their natural movements and freedom of expression and exploring.  However, our spa environment is not an appropriate place for them. We ask that children be properly attended elsewhere while you visit the spa.

For Your Comfort:  If you have a preference for a male or female therapist, please specify at the time of booking.  Please drink [plenty of water before and after your spa service. We discourage shaving immediately prior to your spa body treatments though men should shave before a facial.

For Your Safety:  Consultation with your therapist is an important part of a spa service.  Please inform your therapist if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart conditions or any other medical contraindications.  In addition, your therapist should know if you are taking any prescribed medications and if you have allergies, specifically to nuts, shellfish, or iodine.  Alcohol consumption before, during, or after spa services is highly discouraged.  Please avoid unprotected sun exposure following skin care and body treatments.  Trust that sterilization and sanitation remain a high priority here at the Spa.

Smoking: We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking while in the Spa

Gift Certificates: Make the perfect gift for yourself or others. They are also a great incentive for employee or client award programs.  We offer gift certificates for any dollar amount.  Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or retail products.  Please bring your gift certificate with you for redemption.

Refund Policy: Refunds cannot be given on gift certificates, purchases of skin care products or other retail gift accessories.  You may, however, exchange your purchase for yourself, a friend or family member for the same amount or greater.

Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Gift purchases may be called/faxed with the proper credit card information. Gratuities can be accepted on all credit card sales.

Gratuities: We believe that gratuities are a matter of personal discretion.  Since they should reflect your satisfaction with our services. Between 15% and 20% is customary.  Your personal recommendation to your friends and family is always a valued reward. Thank you.

Quality Service: We are confident that you will enjoy your spa experience here at Serenity. If for any reason you are displeased with the service you have received, we encourage you to let us know.  We would like to have the opportunity to make things right for you.  We also want to stay aware of how to improve or change the way we do things if problems occur.

Price & Services: Like the tides, our prices, services and hours of operation are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

Full payment: is expected at the time of service

Returned checks: are subject to a $50.00 charge
